Privacy notice
BrowseSale is run by Tavero Labs. This page explains, in plain words, what information we collect when you use browsesale.com and what we do with it. Last updated: 8 November 2026.
1. Browsing without an account
You can use the whole site without creating an account. When you browse, we record simple page counts (which pages and sales are viewed) using a short-lived, scrambled code that does not identify you. We do not use cookies for this, and we do not build a profile of you.
2. Google Analytics, only if you allow it
We would like to use Google Analytics to see which sales people look for. It sets cookies, so it stays off until you click “Allow” in the bar at the bottom of the page. You can say “No thanks”, and you can change your mind any time through the “Analytics choice” link in the footer. If you allow it, Google receives your shortened (anonymised) IP address and the pages you visit, under Google’s own privacy policy.
3. If you create an account
To follow brands, save sales and get sale alerts you can create an account with your email address and a password, or sign in with Google. We then keep: your email address, the brands and categories you follow, the sales you save, and your alert settings (for example quiet hours). We use this only to run those features. We never sell or rent your details.
4. Alert emails
Alert emails go only to accounts that chose them. We send at most one alert email a day, and every email has a stop link that works without signing in. Sign-in codes and alerts are sent through an email delivery service acting on our instructions.
5. Reporting a wrong price
You can report a wrong price without an account. We store the report, the sale it is about, and a scrambled code of your connection so that one person cannot flood us with reports. If you are signed in, the report is linked to your account so we can reply to you.
6. Cookies and settings stored in your browser
The site stores a few small settings in your browser: your sign-in session (only when signed in), your chosen country, your light or dark theme, and your analytics choice. These are needed for the site to work and are not used to track you across other websites.
7. Brands’ websites
When you click through to a brand’s website, you leave BrowseSale. The brand’s own privacy policy applies there. We do not see what you do or buy on their site.
8. How long we keep things
Account data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from Account→ Settings & data; this removes your saved sales, followed brands and alerts. Page-count data is kept for up to 12 months. Wrong-price reports are kept for up to 12 months after they are resolved so we can spot repeated problems.
9. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Write to hello@browsesale.com and we will answer within 14 days.
10. Children
BrowseSale is for adults. If you are under 18, please use it with a parent or guardian’s permission.
11. Changes
If we change this notice, we update the date at the top. If the change matters to you, we tell signed-in accounts by email.
